Our Perspective

My PremiumBrands view of Epically.com: expressive names, first versions and the work of building a business online.

At PremiumBrands.com, I bring together domains that deserve consideration as business identities. As its founder, I see Epically.com as a name with an expressive tone rather than a fixed product description. The interesting part is choosing work that makes that tone feel appropriate.

PremiumBrands.com

A clearer business name in 2015

I acquired i-Newswire.com in 2007 and upgraded the business to Newswire.com in 2015. Those are important steps in how I came to think about an address and the business carrying it. The name should make sense in a real introduction, alongside a clear explanation of what the company does.

An expressive name asks a different question from a category name. I would want to know what someone expects after hearing Epically and whether the first offer meets that expectation. A strong word is useful when the product gives people something specific to associate with it.

Giving an expressive word a job

The opportunity to build early versions with AI is part of my interest in online business today. A founder can make a small website or prototype that people can respond to before settling on a larger plan. That can turn an attractive concept into a discussion about an actual customer.

For Epically.com, I would be curious about a narrowly selected experience rather than a page promising every kind of entertainment. Let someone see one finished format, its intended audience and the next action. Their reaction can help a builder judge the distance between the name’s energy and the offer.

My studio’s supporting role

OnlineBusiness.com, my strategy and development studio, supports the work presented through PremiumBrands. I keep its role practical: developing the presentation and thinking through possible directions. PremiumBrands is where the name is offered and where an interested buyer begins the acquisition discussion.

If Epically.com belongs with your creative plans, Request Price and tell me what you want people to experience. The The Name covers the name and acquisition context. A useful conversation starts with the business you are prepared to build behind the word.
